Akron-Medina Personal Trainer
Ashley Wyatt graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. She is a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor through AFAA, Spinning Instructor through MADD DOGG and holds certifications in Turbo Kick, PiYo, and Insanity. She has been an instructor for the Future Fitness Clinic with Akron Children’s Hospital as well as helped clients through at home personal training to lose over 40 pounds.
Ashley’s passion for fitness started at a very young age when she was a competitive figure skater. It was in her competitive skating where she learned how to work hard, persevere, and overcome barriers. Ashley was taught to never give up, give it your all, have a positive attitude, and to try harder every time you struggle or fail. She relates her competitive figure skating years to everyday life as well as her training today.
Ashley intended to go to medical school after receiving her biology degree, but then decided she could benefit more people by helping to change lifestyles through exercise and nutrition rather than writing a prescription. This lead Ashley to personal training. She has had several clients get off medications through nutrition and exercise and truly believes it is the best medicine.
Ashley enjoys training individuals who are ready to commit to a healthier lifestyle, who are ready to work hard, and have a positive mindset. She loves seeing the smiles and increased confidence in the individuals she teaches and trains. Ashley loves helping her clients gain empowerment and a new outlook on their healthy lifestyle and believes that being a personal trainer at Sculpt Fitness allows her to make a big difference in helping people improve their lives.
