Hey guys and girls,


Wanted to check in on you guys and make sure you are working as hard as possible to build strong healthy bodies.   Unfortunately, lower body work is something that a lot of people neglect.   Which is very shocking considering we do about 90% of our activity using our legs……..

But lets not go off on a laziness tangent.  Hitting the legs hard is the best way to build ultimate strength and that is todays topic.  Of course we could just go old school and just say load some eight on a barbell and rip out some back squats, but, for today lets go Sculpt Fitness style and add some zest into the lower body workout.

One of the awesome strength combos we do to build lower body strength and power is combining a heavy compound movement such as deadlifts or squats with a body weight explosive movement like a box jump or a plyo lunge.  Remember,  our method at the Sculpt Fitness gym is not only to build strong healthy bodies that can move some good weight around, but also be conditioned to finish our weight workout with a trail run or bike ride if we wanted too.   There are not One sided clients here at the gym.  Here we focus on all aspects of our fitness.
